a surfer Lisi on his TOE :: how the Higgs boson relates to Lie group E8
Last year a nomadic surfer living in Maui uploaded a physics paper to arXiv which contributes to the TOE. The paper entitled "An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything [TOE]" is a a pun on the Lie algebra of the largest simple but exceptional Lie group E8.
